Gwen Renée Stefani is an American singer, songwriter, fashion designer and occasional actress. Gwen was born on October 3, 1969 at St. Jude's Hospital in Fullerton, California. She was one of four children born to Dennis Stefani and Patti Flynn. Her siblings are Eric Stefani, Jill and Todd. It spawned the singles "Just a Girl", "Spiderwebs", and the airplay number-one "Don't Speak".

Gwen recorded her first solo album Love. Angel. Music. Baby. in 2004. The album was primarily inspired by music of the 1980s, taking Gwen's work further into pop, R&B, and dance music, and enjoyed international success with sales of over seven million. The album's third single "Hollaback Girl" became the first U.S. digital download to sell one million copies. Gwen's second solo album The Sweet Escape (2006) was yielded by "Wind It Up", a moderate worldwide success. Including her work with No Doubt, Gwen has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide.

But despite her break up to his long time boyfriend lead singer,
Tony Kanal of No Doubt, Gwen started to date and got married to English rocker Gavin Rossdale on 14 September 2002 in London. She is now stepmother to Gavin's 16-year-old daughter, Daisy Lowe. Gwen and Gavin divide their time equally between homes in Anaheim and London.
